Hi, I'm Alice.  I'm also called "Alice From Dallas".  I'm from Dallas, but I got to Austin as quickly as I could.  While I don't take myself so seriously, I take my client's business very seriously!

I've had my real estate license since 1984 and I'm a certified e-PRO Internet Professional REALTOR^(R).  Presently only 3% of the over 1 million REALTORS(r) in this country have received this certification. An e-PRO is a REALTOR^(R) who has successfully completed the e-PRO training course endorsed by the National Association of REALTORS^(R).  It means I have been trained to (1) answer my email promptly and professionally (2) respect your on-line privacy and (3) offer home listings and other Internet tools to help you find, market or maintain your home.

The e-PRO course teaches professionals the nuts and bolts of working with real estate on-line: websites, e-mail, on-line tools, business networking, and most of all, what today's consumers really want.  Also, I try to stay up-to-date with new technology to help my clients and keep me organized.

I am a tough negotiator for my clients, and work very hard to help them achieve their goals. I have an excellent eye for staging a home to show its' best and sell for the most money in the shortest time. It's what I do. It's my responsibility to tell my clients what they need to hear in marketing their home.

I began my real estate career in Relocation where I managed an average of $5M worth of third-party properties. I handled every aspect of them--from getting repairs done in order to get them ready to market, all the way to the closing table.  I left that job for a harder but more rewarding one--to be a mom. After I took time off for my family, we moved to Austin, Texas. Having lots of friends here has been a blessing. It all helps me in understanding  the dynamics of a cross-country move that some of my clients face.

FOR BUYERS: I'm a matchmaker. I match people with houses. I listen to my clients and search only for homes that meet their needs. I treat clients as if they are good friends-- because they are.

FOR SELLERS: I listen closely to find out their needs. Some people are in a hurry to move. Some have more flexibility. I compile information for their Comparative Market Analysis, known as a CMA. I honestly report what the numbers tell me and then give my complete effort to marketing their home. My goal is to get the highest price possible in the shortest available time period so they can go on with their purchase of another home.

I have a wonderful husband, Mike, and two wonderful daughters. Mike and I celebrated our 28th anniversary on Valentine's Day in 2009. Mendy graduated from the Chicago Art Institute and is now a Coach at The Latin School in Chicago.  Before that she was a teacher and Field Hockey Coach at Greenhill School in Dallas.  Meaghan is our youngest daughter and is in South Korea teaching.  We have another family member: Penelope.  She is a brindle colored "Love Bug."  That is a cross between a Boston Terrier and a Pug. She is a full fledged Diva.
