Well, you may ask why is this person I don't know giving her own testimonial. The truth is that I followed the advice I give my clients for my own personal home sale. I sold my own home towards the middle of last year in a "strong" buyer's market. I didn't put it on the market until July (well after the main selling period of the year). I sold it in 11 days with the buyers moving in within 30 days of contract. Other homes in the area were averaging 120 or more days. I got a good offer and made it work. I truly believe it was due to my staging and correct pricing. It may be hard to sell the home that you have great memories in, but you have to think of it in a business like manner.
